About Joel

Joel began his design career in 2015 at a large rescue mission in the Twin Cities, gaining experience across direct mail, social media, and annual fund design. In 2017, he and his team won Best Annual Report of the Year at the Citygate Annual Conference. Since 2020, Joel has freelanced full time, working with nonprofits nationwide. He lives on an 8-acre farm in Maine with his wife and two daughters, raising dairy goats, pigs, chickens, ducks, and geese. Joel enjoys making cheese and is passionate about regenerative farming and sustainability.
